Why New Life? Because we did not plan to start a church. God wanted it. Just as God was using the “foolish Gentiles” to renew the Jews, God is using our small church led by a “foolish” pastor to shake things up a bit.
We are foolish enough to believe that because the gospel is for everyone, the church should reflect the diversity of its neighbors, that people of different colors, cultures, and class can be a strong and loving family of God.
We are foolish enough to believe that a church is called to holy, courageous enough to be different in the way it lives together.
We are foolish enough to believe that a church is called to be a family, that we do not relate to each other economically - main form of social organization of today - but as family. We are foolish enough to believe that relationship trumps everything else.
