Ephesians 3 - Posture of Power - Praise

We receive and express the unlimited power of God through the posture of prayer and praise.

Firstly, praise and prayer are really two postures of a single movement towards God.

Secondly, praise is the practice of saying “Amen” to our prayers. It is the declaration that God has already answered our prayer.

Thirdly, praise is the practice of opening ourselves to the influence of the Holy Spirit.

Fourthly, praise is the practice of joy. Joy strengthens us.

Fifthly, praise is the act of making music. Music is the language of the spirit.

Sixthly, praise unites us. In making music we see the power of submitting to one another and the necessity of diversity.

Christians through the centuries have overcome challenges singing praise.
